Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join their vibrant team. You will oversee a portfolio of licensed and unlicensed entities within the Gaming, IP, and digital technology sectors across multiple jurisdictions, including the Isle of Man, UK, Malta, Alderney, Guernsey, and Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial ledgers from client-provided documents and compile statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Liaise with auditors and manage the audit process.
- Prepare cash flow projections, solvency checks, and management accounts for board meetings.
- Handle monthly gambling duty returns, regulatory submissions, and assist with VAT return reviews.
- Attend client meetings, providing advice on accounting matters and resolving queries with clients and client relationship managers.
- Support colleagues within the accounting team and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Requirements:
- Chartered or Certified Accountant (ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent) with at least three years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and modern methods, with experience preparing client accounts.
- Familiarity with FRS102 (IFRS experience is advantageous).
- Experience with accounting software such as NavOne, Xero, and CCH accounts production is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a busy accounting environment, managing workloads effectively and working on own initiative.
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
