Our client is seeking a Settlements Administrator.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the timely trade settlement of all investment transactions and to accurately administer external custodian accounts and custody records. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the resolution of client queries including callbox within agreed timescales, record errors for further analysis to prevent reoccurrence, follow documented procedures and recommend changes where necessary to ensure ongoing improvement within the department, ensure that outstanding reconciliation items are investigated and cleared within agreed timescales, assist with the collection of the quarterly DFM and platform prices, receive / chase and input all deal confirmations and contract notes within agreed procedures and time scales, input all Investment related transactions accurately in line with system access rights, correctly allocate all nominee funds, administer cash and stock settlements, and chase and complete all outstanding stock transfers.
The successful candidate will ideally be studying towards attainment of IOC, and have a minimum of 1 - 2 years' experience within a similar role in the finance sector.
