Our client is currently seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their IT team. This role with involve operation, support and administration for the company’s new and existing software applications.
Key Responsibilities: Support, maintain, document, and improve all utilities, processes, procedures, and interfaces. 1st line IT support - ensuring the resolution of issues, and provision of client / server applications, desktop applications, and telephony systems. Strive to simplify process and improve efficiency. Assist in the day to day IT function and tasks as deemed necessary. Undertake projects that will improve support and modernisation of the systems and processes.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years relevant technology experience. An IT related degree is beneficial. Excellent knowledge of banking and payment applications, desktop and telephony applications. A strong background in application support analysis and management.
