The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent service to clients and will have the opportunity to be part of the exciting growth story. Key responsibilities


Execute audit work efficiently and deliver excellent service
Act as a role model for junior team members, providing on-the-job coaching
Adhere to the firm's risk management policies and deliver work to the highest quality
Effectively manage the audit process, considering audit risk issues and accounting technical matters
Lead and manage fieldwork on client sites, ensuring smooth delivery of the audit process
Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks (UK GAAP or IFRS) and related financial reporting matters
Identify areas for improvement in client business processes and make recommendations
Contribute to effective teamwork in internal engagement situations
Provide on-the-job training to develop auditing skills and familiarity with the firm's audit methodology


Requirements


ACA/CA/ACCA qualified (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent international qualification) - preferably first time passes
Excellent technical expertise with proven industry knowledge
Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements
Ability to coach and develop junior staff
Knowledge of current trends/issues affecting the financial services market in the UKI region (preferred)
