Our client is recruiting for a Brands & People Development Manager.
The purpose of the role is to drive continuous improvement in the delivery of the customer experience by developing and executing the people proposition at site level and the wider retail business, and supporting the business in ensuring the General Managers are developed in order that they can produce effective business plans that deliver the sales and profit requirements. You will also support strategic business goals being developed into prioritised Brands & People Development activities. You will ensure the effective delivery and execution of these activities throughout the business through a hands-on approach, with full accountability and ownership for the people proposition, whilst working collaboratively with the central services teams, who will provide facilitation, support and guidance as required.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 5 years’ operational experience gained in a multi-site licensed-trade or food hospitality background, up-to-date demonstrable knowledge of reward systems, training and development, performance management, relevant employment law, and HR best practice, and have good PowerPoint and Excel skills.
