BUSINESS ANALYST | ref.MF31
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and analytical individual to join our client’s friendly and flexible team as Business Analyst.
Reporting to the Head of Business Solutions, the successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes and data to identify areas for improvement. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify business requirements and create project proposals that meet business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate business processes, data, and systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and analyse business requirements.
Create detailed business requirements documents and use cases that accurately reflect business needs and priorities.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure that systems meet business requirements.
Provide guidance and support to team members, including developers, testers, and subject matter experts.
Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines and budgets.
Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and project sponsors.
Participate in the design and implementation of systems and processes to support business.
Objectives will be set and approved by the line manager and MD.
The job holder is responsible for prioritising and organising their own time and workload referring queries to line manager.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Holds a relevant professional qualification.
A thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel ideally at advanced level.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with business process modelling and design tools, such as Visio or Lucidchart.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
An understanding of financial services & fund industry experience.
Self-motivated and well organised with an ability to adapt and tackle a wide variety of challenges.
A deeply analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills.
Fantastic people skills.
High level of organisational and prioritisation skills combined with a high degree of flexibility and willingness to help others.
