CLIENT ACCOUNTANT | ref.MF81
Our client is seeking a qualified Client Accountant to join their team.
You will provide high quality support for clients. The role will involve preparation of accounts for clients across a range of common law jurisdictions and a range of entity types including companies, partnerships, sole traders, and trusts. This includes statutory annual financial statements, management accounts and reports to meet regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Prepare accounts from records maintained by the client or client manager.
Compiles financial and other statements and reports for a variety of entity types across multiple jurisdictions.
Maintains essential accounting records and files.
Will be required to learn and utilise various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the company.
Knowledge of principles, methods and procedures used in modern accounting. You will also know of laws, rules and regulations governing the installation, operation and keeping of accounts and their application to specific situations. You will have expertise of the methods and procedures involved in preparing detailed accounting and other financial reports containing findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Have the ability to analyse accounting problems, to organise assigned work and to develop effective work methods, whilst ensuring that prescribed accounting procedures are followed. Able to provide technical advice and assistance to those charged with keeping financial records.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ACCA, ACA Qualified or qualified through experience.
Proficient in Excel and computerised accounting packages.
Adaptable to change.
A flexible approach to workflow management.
Strong attention to detail.
Approachable with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
