COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT | ref.MF18
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our client’s busy Marketing Services and Communication Team for a creative and hard-working individual to join as Communications Assistant.
Reporting to the Communications Executive, the successful applicant will work to support sponsorship relationships and corporate events and be involved with the creation of content for a variety of channels, both internally and externally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Represent the company at external events and cheque/award presentations.
Assist in the planning and delivery of corporate events.
Organise staff events.
Provide support to the company’s sponsorship programme by liaising with recipients to gain publicity and organise events.
Maintain the sponsorship database.
Source, create and maintain content for internal and external marketing communications.
Interpretation and presentation of data.
Maintaining and contributing to the communications team content calendar.
Processing invoices and submitting all marketing costs to the purchase order systems.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Have GCSEs in English Language and Maths, grade B or above.
Be a team player able to communicate with people at all levels.
Be creative and demonstrate attention to detail, while working to deadlines.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Have strong organisational skills.
