A fantastic opportunity has become available to join our client’s business as Compliance Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring continued adherence to regulatory and legislative requirements, as well as collaboratively working with other delivery teams on regulatory and licensing matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Promote a positive compliance culture at all levels throughout the business.
With a strong understanding of the exposure to risk within the gaming and financial services industries, you will ensure the Company complies with the relevant legal and regulatory environments.
Providing guidance and advice to key stakeholders on matters pertaining to regulation, compliance, and corporate affairs, you will develop appropriate solutions and strategies to ensure current and future compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsible for the daily management of compliance-related activities; overseeing the maintenance and monitoring of a variety of standard compliance matters and systems.
Manage corporate and regulatory affairs, including licensing.
Keep abreast of relevant legislation, compliance changes and advise on any potential impact and develop action plans as required.
Research and analysis of applicable regulatory developments.
Oversee the drafting and revision of company policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with other delivery teams, including legal to ensure accurate and timely compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure company compliance with any license conditions and/or codes of practice through providing regular internal audits and training sessions.
Responsible for the submission of timely and high-quality regulatory returns and other required reports.
Develop relationships with the relevant licensing bodies and where relevant lobby for changes to regulations or technical standards.
Take the lead on license applications, business registrations and renewals.
Team Performance management.
Oversight of audit, risk, data governance and contract management functions.
Responsible for performing company secretary duties.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Management qualification
Strong exposure of working within a compliance/regulatory role
Proven experience in the management of the licensing and compliance processes within a compliance environment
Experience of liaising with Government regulators
