FINANCE ASSISTANT | ref.MF23
Our client is seeking an adaptable and detailed individual to join their busy and highly successful finance team as Finance Assistant.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial reports, data gathering and maintenance of financial records across multiple entities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Providing support during year end audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and reconciliations and gathering documentation to support these.
Assistance with the preparation of annual financial statements for internal entities.
Running monthly revaluations within the accounting system.
Processing monthly cost split allocations.
Uploading monthly trial balances into the accounting system.
Assisting with the preparation of monthly profit and loss reports and business unit and product reports.
Posting the journals required for audit adjustments.
Performing regular intercompany reconciliations.
Gathering data from finance systems such as Navision, Cognos, Pyramid, and internal dashboards.
Maintenance of procedure notes and process flows in order to comply with SOC requirements.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have started relevant exams and be working towards an accountancy qualification (e.g. CAT or ACCA) or be a qualified Accounting Technician or Bookkeeper.
Experience within a finance-based role.
Experience of Microsoft Navision or other similar accounting packages.
