Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to support the finance function across multiple global offices. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, handling financial accounting, cashflow management, and supporting the preparation of management accounts. You will play a key role in helping ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and contributing to business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare management accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation and audit of company and consolidated financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, submitting reports as necessary.
  • Work with key stakeholders to prepare management information and support the annual budget process.
  • Help prepare financial reports for board meetings.
  • Undertake ad-hoc project work, including supporting business acquisition processes.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be working towards an accounting qualification or have relevant experience in the preparation of financial accounts. The following skills and attributes would be highly advantageous:

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and procedures.
  • Ability to solve accounting problems and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
