Administrator - Fund Services

Are you an experienced fund services professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Fund Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of funds, while providing exceptional service to our clients. You will work closely with the Associate Director and play a key role in fund administration, client management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee fund operations, including negotiating borrowing arrangements, managing service agreements, and ensuring compliance with offering documents and investment parameters.
  • Prepare reports, notices, and other documents required for shareholder meetings and regular fund updates.
  • Handle all necessary filings with regulatory bodies and stock exchanges where the fund is listed.
  • Manage registrar and transfer agency duties, including receiving investment applications, conducting customer due diligence (CDD), and maintaining the share register.
  • Prepare and manage the issue and redemption of participating shares, including the calculation of equalisation adjustments and publication of subscription and redemption prices.
  • Maintain statutory registers, prepare board packs, and draft minutes and resolutions.
  • Fulfil additional tasks as required, including covering for absent colleagues and assisting the wider Client Services department.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fund services, with a strong background in financial services administration.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage your own workflow effectively.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory requirements, including FSA, AML, and data protection.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality client service and manage operational risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Able to work independently, taking initiative and maintaining high levels of discipline.
