GRADUATE TRAINEE – AUDIT & ASSURANCE | ref.MF912

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and diligent graduate.

Working in the Audit and Assurance department, your principle responsibility will be to carry out audit tasks as directed by the Audit Supervisor.

This role is suitable for positive and hardworking candidates, committed to their professional development and producing work to a high standard. Candidates should possess excellent time management and organisational skills, using time efficiently when completing tasks. The ideal candidate would have strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with both colleagues and clients.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Ensure the work performed is clearly documented and communicated on the audit file.

Demonstrate working knowledge and application of accounting standards (IFRS/ UKGAAP).

Demonstrate practical awareness and application of auditing standards (ISA’s).

Seek an understanding of professional standards not previously encountered.

Seek to develop external contacts through client work and personal network.

Operate on a daily basis within the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Understand the firm’s policies and procedures and adhere to them in daily working practice.

An awareness of other service lines and identifies cross-selling opportunities.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Be studying towards and taking exams for CFAB.

Hold a Second-class  or above university degree.

Self-motivated, team player, but also be able to work on own initiative; and dynamic and creative.
