We have an interesting opportunity available for an individual with a keen interest in financial markets and investments.

Our client is seeking an Investment Analyst to join their investments team based in London which is responsible for international asset allocation and fund manager research for a range of risk-profiled funds/portfolios.

The role holder will provide support to the Investment Management team through analysing and collating material to aid the investment process, conduct investment research and the production of performance reporting information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Working closely alongside the investment team, on research projects (on areas such as fund selection, asset allocation, and portfolio management).

Preparing meeting material to support different parts of the investment process.

Supporting the ongoing monitoring of underlying funds / investments within the portfolios (including positioning, ESG metrics, and other quantitative measures).

Participating in meetings with fund managers.

Managing the production and delivery of adhoc and regular reporting materials (such as factsheets) including the sourcing and verifying of data from data providers.

Conducting performance contribution and attribution analysis.

Providing assistance with client-related queries.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Masters educated in Finance, Investments or equivalent.

Highly developed investment and analytical skills.

Well-developed knowledge of financial markets, investments, and economics.

Familiarity with investment terminology and data analysis techniques.

Proficient with data and report automation.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools, especially Microsoft Excel (knowledge of functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, VBA, Python would be beneficial.

Experience with data providers such as Morningstar and Bloomberg are desirable, but not essential.
