Investment Reporting Analyst

We are exclusively recruiting for an award-winning international investment company who are looking to recruit an individual with a keen interest in performance reporting, data management, financial markets, and investments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Investment Reporting Analyst to join a supportive and knowledgeable investments team based in London.

Key responsibilities

Managing end-to-end production and delivery of regular reporting materials including sourcing and verifying data from data providers.

Preparation of ad-hoc performance reports on a monthly / quarterly basis that supports the investment team.

Work closely alongside the investment team, liaising with Marketing, Sales, and Compliance to develop and optimise performance reporting, ensuring the highest data integrity standards.

Proactively identify data and reporting issues and negotiate and implement improvement opportunities.

Build, maintain and support strong key internal and external relationships.

Ensure efficiencies and consistency of reporting across the wider group.

Knowledge, skills, and experience

Degree educated in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.

Work experience in investment management or the financial services industry.

An established understanding of the investment management industry and familiarity with investment terminology and data analysis techniques.

Well-established understanding and experience in combining and manipulating data from multiple sources into single, easily understood performance sheets.

Proficient with data and report automation.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools, especially Excel (Vlookups, sumifs, and pivot tables) and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, VBA, Python would be beneficial.

This role would suit a strong team player who can manage their workload effectively to meet deadlines, accuracy is essential. You will be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure and present complex information clearly and creatively.
