Our client, a leading organisation, is looking for an experienced IT Resilience Analyst to join their team. In this crucial role, you will help ensure the stability, capacity, and continuity of the organisation's IT systems, infrastructure, and services. You will develop and implement strategies to protect against potential disruptions, including natural disasters, cyber threats, and hardware failures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities, including natural disasters, cyber threats, and failure of third-party providers.
  • Perform Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to assess the potential impact of disruptions on operations, financial stability, and reputation.
  • Develop and document business continuity and IT disaster recovery plans to ensure swift response and recovery from disruptions.
  • Work with stakeholders to implement and test business continuity plans, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and raise awareness to ensure staff understand their roles in the event of a disruption or crisis.
  • Monitor and review existing business continuity plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing recommendations to enhance resilience.
  • Coordinate responses during incidents, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the incident management team.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews, producing detailed reports with actionable recommendations, and ensuring follow-up implementation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and business operations.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and developing continuity plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and work across multiple teams and departments.
  • Able to remain composed under pressure and effectively manage stressful situations.
  • Highly adaptable, able to quickly respond to evolving incidents and changes in the business environment.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, identifying and addressing potential issues before they escalate.

If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring organisational resilience and have experience in IT continuity and disaster recovery, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
