We currently have a fantastic opportunity available within a busy IT Operations Support team.
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day support across the business including the group’s network infrastructure, network security systems, end-user PC’s and printers, telephone system and the installation and running of centrally managed software systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Responding to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, chat, and email, ensuring professional, friendly, and helpful customer service as the first point of contact.
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests, advising user on appropriate action and following up to ensure complete resolution of issues.
Developing, documenting, and implementing standard operating procedures and customer guidelines relating to IT support.
Managing inventory of devices for customer needs.
Preparing computers for employees, computer builds, setting up accounts for new users, repairing and replacing equipment as necessary, testing new technology.
Supporting end users in their use of applications such as Microsoft Office, CRM, VPN, Citrix etc.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have:
Sufficient knowledge of the Group’s IT and communications hardware to provide ongoing support and maintenance.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems to support servers, infrastructure, PC’s and printers.
Detailed knowledge to support the company’s Microsoft based system including O365 suite of products.
Strong communication, organisation, and planning skills.
