JUNIOR DATA ANALYST | ref.MF50
An exciting new opportunity has arisen where our client is looking for an organised Data Analyst to join their team. The primary responsibility of this position is to help drive key business decisions and maximise commercial success using various analytical systems. The individual in this role plays a vital role in identifying trends and growth opportunities through the analysis of complex datasets. They ensure effective data reporting by utilising meaningful data processing, analysis, and visualisation techniques. Effective communication with various levels of our client’s organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Collaborate closely with managers to gain a deep understanding of their analytic requirements, including key metrics and KPIs, and maintain a focus on meeting those needs.
Proactively analyse data in response to stakeholder inquiries, identifying the factors that drive business performance, and effectively communicate areas for improvement.
Define and implement data acquisition and integration strategies, carefully selecting suitable methods and tools from the defined technology stack to ensure the optimal scalability and performance of the solution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify their reporting requirements and ensure that the reports address their specific needs and provide actionable insights.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience with KNIME, Python, R or other statistical analysis tools is desirable.
Extensive and detailed knowledge of Excel and SQL is essential.
The very best analytical and problem-solving skills and a real passion for big data.
Dedication to deliver team and business objectives and a willingness to learn new skills as systems and needs develop.
Good communication skills and ability to interact at all levels within the business, both technical and non-technical.
Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proven analytical skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualisation.
Technical writing experience in relevant areas including queries, reports, and presentations.
Experience with ETL, and model design and segmentation techniques are desirable.
Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
