Our client is currently seeking a Junior SysOps Engineer to join their team. The purpose of the role is to act as afirst point of contact for staff. Your job is to help ensure the success of the business by maintaining any equipment and products employees work with and make sure internal issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently. You will utilise telephone, email and remote support tools to work with various offices and report directly to the Infrastructure Manager.
Knowledge of the following are suggested but not essential as full training can be given to the correct candidate, Windows Server 2008-2012 R2, Windows 10, HyperV, Ubuntu Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, MySQL, Oracle 12c, Exchange Server, Office 365, VoIP knowledge and network experience.
The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, lots of energy and be a curious learner with an interest in professional development.
