Job Description

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER | ref.MF870

Our client currently has a permanent vacancy available for a Learning & Development Officer.

The role holder will be primarily responsible for the identification, development and facilitation of learning development activities to support company values and build capability across the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identification of training and development needs in conjunction with line managers, department heads and HR.
  • Develop and deliver a range of in house training including induction.
  • Sourcing and facilitation of specialist training.
  • Ongoing development of training programmes to strengthen manager skill sets.
  • Management of online training packages.
  • Administration of professional qualification application in line with company policy.
  • Identification and coordination of wellbeing initiatives.

Skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in life assurance or an office environment with some experience in training.
  • Strong presentation / facilitation skills.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • The ability to listen, communicate and challenge effectively at all levels.
  • Good relationship and stakeholder management.
