Job Description



We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual.

As Payments Administrator, you will be primarily responsible for the processing of company payments and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.

This role is suitable for an individual who is quick to learn, can keep calm under pressure when dealing with a high volume of transactions and can deal with the volume without compromising on accuracy. Close attention to internal and external deadlines is also key in the payment process.




Timely and accurate processing of all outward payments to clients.

Investigating and answering of all payment related queries from internal departments and external banking partners.

Daily input of exchange rates to various systems.

Recording and banking of cheques (this will involve driving the Company car to the bank).

Assisting the Bank reconciliations team by ensuring that correct information is recorded.

Accurate journaling of payments on daily basis.

Maintaining Company records and filing appropriately.




Educated to A-Level standard, with a minimum of 5 GCSE grates A to C including Math’s and English.

A good working knowledge understanding of Microsoft Excel & Outlook.

Have a high level of attention to detail, particularly when working with figures.

To be able work independently within agreed objectives taking personal responsibility for delivery.
