SCANNING AND ARCHIVING ADMINISTRATOR | ref.MF119
An exciting new opportunity has arisen with our client to join them as a Scanning and Archiving Administrator. This role would suit someone who is committed, focused and with excellent attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Assist with monitoring and controlling the scanning, filing and archiving/destruction of office records by:
Liaising with managers to request preparation of documentation to be scanned and archived/destroyed.
Take responsibility for ensuring the Records Management database is kept up to date.
Circulation of data to obtain Senior Director authorisation to destroy records.
Scanning records into the Laserfiche system and checking scan accuracy.
Ensuring the accurate destruction of records in line with company GDPR policy.
Production of weekly and monthly reports for management information.
Assist with the project to destroy historic hard copy and electronic records that are no longer required.
May be required to move some heavy boxes whilst negotiating stairs.
Assist with filing as required.
Any other tasks as reasonably required from time to time.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years’ experience of working in an office environment.
Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
Previous experience with Laserfiche would be useful.
The ability to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised and has the initiative to take ownership of the duties to be performed.
Confident in liaising with colleagues as well as senior management and external contacts as required.
Discretion and diplomacy are a must as is being a team player.
