SENIOR AML ADMINISTRATOR | Ref M2631
THE ROLE
As a member of the AML Team, support the ongoing effectiveness of the AML and CFT control environment through monitoring reviews and customer risk assessments. The role contributes to both individual and team objectives, ensuring regulatory standards are met while delivering consistent, quality focused service across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct AML and CFT monitoring reviews.
• Complete and maintain customer risk assessments, including higher risk and PEP cases.
• Quality check colleagues’ work to ensure adherence to policy and regulatory standards.
• Review and escalate AML and CFT incidents where appropriate.
• Manage processes in line with internal controls and procedures.
• Maintain proactive and reactive contact with customers and advisers.
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions in accordance with policies.
• Take responsibility for personal performance and development.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies including risk, compliance and HR policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Relevant AML, compliance or financial services qualification desirable.
• Previous life office experience beneficial but not essential.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES
• Proven experience in AML and CFT monitoring.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements, particularly in relation to PEPs and high-risk customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgement and the confidence to challenge where required.
