SENIOR PAYMENTS ADMINISTRATOR | ref.MF901
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our client’s busy Payments Team based in Douglas.
Reporting to the Payments Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the processing of a variety of company payments and expenses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Ensuring the smooth processing of money in and money out of bank accounts with a focus on controls to ensure entries are posted accurately and timely.
Handling payment related queries from internal colleagues, external customers, and banking partners.
Daily processing of invoices across the business, ensuring payments are verified and paid within service standards.
Maintaining strong working relationships with banks, partners, and colleagues.
Acting as a mentor, providing training, support, and constructive feedback to colleagues.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience within financial services, preferably within payments processing.
Good working knowledge of the major international banking systems.
Strong communications skills both written and verbal.
High attention to detail, particularly working with figures.
Good organisational and problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
