An interesting role has arisen to join our client as a highly skilled and proactive VOIP Engineer to join their dynamic team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Design, implement, and manage VoIP telecommunication systems including within their MVNO.
Develop and maintain scalable and robust SIP routing with Kamailio/OpenSIPS.
Administer and configure Asterisk PBX systems to meet client-specific requirements.
Manage SQL-based databases integral to VoIP system functionality.
Ensure system integrity and security across Linux-based platforms.
Conduct continuous performance analysis and system tuning.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex VoIP issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VoIP technologies with other services.
Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in VoIP communications.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in VoIP technologies, including extensive experience with Asterisk, proficiency in SIP server platforms like Kamailio or OpenSIPS, and a deep understanding of database management. The role also requires adeptness in Linux administration to maintain and optimise their operating systems that support VoIP services.
