JUNIOR IT SUPPORT | ref.MF93

A brand new exciting role has arisen with one of our clients to join them as a Junior IT Support Specialist.

This is an interesting opportunity for an individual who has a love of technology and sport and thrives under pressure. This role would suit someone who is looking for any entry level position within the tech space and can grow and develop with a young company working with cutting edge streaming technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Monitor incoming video contribution feeds from global sports providers.

Monitoring outgoing video streams on client portals and apps.

Fault handling and escalation.

Working side by side with MCR to support live video operations.

Liaising with 3rd party suppliers, handling escalation through to resolution.

Ensure that channels and feeds are routed onto client channels as required.

ESSENTIAL:

Rock solid desktop applications knowledge.

Strong interest in working with web technologies and basic web applications.

Ability to translate and communicate technical information so that it can be clearly.

Understood by customers and colleagues.

Ability to prioritise workload to meet targets.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Sound organisational skills.

Prepared to work weekends and evenings when required.

Access to own car/transport.

Excellent team player.

DESIRABLE:

Knowledge of global sports.

Prior experience of shift work.

Experience working in a support desk environment.

Evidence of technical aptitude via work or education.

Previous experience within an MCR environment.
